I improved my communication skills substantially. I learned to explain abstract concepts in an approachable way and to respond to questions from students to get them on the right track towards understanding the problems at hand.

During the summer I taught classes of 20 kids ages 8-12 to code during 4-day camps. I learned a lot about handling kids, primarily because your see the impact of your behaviour on group dynamic. This has made me more confident to stand in front of different groups of people.
